Voice Lessons
Voice lessons focus on developing healthy vocal technique, confidence, and musical expression. Students explore a variety of vocal styles including classical, musical theater, and contemporary music based on their interests. Lessons are designed to support each student's goals, including audition preparation, performance opportunities, and continued growth as a vocalist.
Piano Lessons
We offer two options for piano lessons at Berrywood Music Studio:
Beginner Piano focuses on foundational skills and music literacy through the use of method books.
Contemporary Piano focuses on chord-based skills for performance in bands, accompanying singers, and other comtemporary settings.
Meet the instructor
Alexis Loch is a music educator who is passionate about helping students build confidence and find joy in making music. She has a Master's Degree in Music Education from Gordon College and has experience teaching choir, piano, general music, and music theory to grades K-12, as well as directing adult choirs. Her students range from brand new beginners, to advance performers, to adults rediscovering music after time away.
Alexis believes in meeting students where they are and tailoring lessons to their individual interests, goals, and learning style. Her teaching approach emphasizes creativity, connection, and building a lifelong love of music.
