Piano Lessons
We offer two options for piano lessons at Berrywood Music Studio. Beginner Piano (ages 7+) focuses on foundational skills and music literacy through the use of method books.
Contemporary Piano (ages 12+) focuses on chord-based skills for performance in bands, accompanying singers, and other casual settings.
Voice Lessons
Voice lessons (ages 12+) focuses on developing healthy vocal technique, confidence, and musical expression. Students explore a variety of vocal styles including classical, musical theater, and contemporary music based on their interests. Lessons are designed to support each student's goals, including audition preparation, performance opportunities, and continued growth as a vocalist.
Lesson Pricing
Piano Lessons start at $160 monthly for four 30-minute lessons each month.
Voice Lessons start at $280 monthly for four 50-minute lessons each month.

Meet the instructor
Alexis Loch is a music educator who is passionate about helping students build confidence and find joy in making music. She strives to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable exploring new skills and growing at their own pace.
Alexis holds a Master's Degree in Music Education from Gordon College and has experience teaching choir, piano, general music, and music theory to grades K-12, as well as directing adult choirs. She has worked with students ranging in experience, from brand new beginners, to adults returning to music after time away, to advanced students who have studied for years.
Alexis believes in meeting students where they are and tailoring lessons to their individual interests, goals, and learning style. Her teaching approach emphasizes creativity, connection, and building a lifelong love of music.
